How much is a Drug Test?
A drug test is an important test used to check whether a person is positive in using drugs deemed as illegal; this is most commonly done for pre-employment. Specifically, the test looks for particular chemicals associated with certain types of drugs, both illegal and those who abused legal drugs. Over the years, the methods of drug testing have evolved. Aside from urine, other samples can be used as basis for the test (such as hair or saliva and even blood). Not to mention the availability of instant drug testing methods and drug-testing kits that can hasten the process of the tests. However, going for licensed medical professionals to administer the test is still the best choice of majority.
Our highly qualified personnel can perform collection and testing services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
As a full-service third-party administrator (TPA) of occupational health screening services, Saudhi Parameds offers integrated, single-source drug testing for pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, random, post-accident and return to duty testing.

DNA Sample Types
Standard Mouth Swab Sample
Our tests are normally performed using a standard mouth-swabbed sample per person tested. Not only is this the easiest way to collect, there’s also a higher chance of collecting a good sample.
If you decide to use the “Make Your Own” collection kit, the standard mouth sample will be a cotton swab, such as a Q-Tip. Our Universal Forensics collection kit includes the necessary swabs for collection.
Non-Standard DNA Samples
If you are unable to submit a standard sample, we have had success in obtaining DNA from various sources. You do run the risk, however, of the non-standard sample failing for unexplained reasons. Consult the list for ideas of what you can send.
When considering a non-standard sample, please keep the following points in mind:
•One (1) Non-Standard sample increases the price of your test by $75.
•If there is no usable DNA on the item, to resend another non-standard sample will cost $150. That includes $75 for the non-standard sample and $75 for replacing a sample.
•Choose the best possible sample the first time. If you have multiple non-standard samples, only send the one you want processed.
Examples of Non-Standard DNA Samples
Although the items listed are good examples, we cannot guarantee there will be a usable DNA sample on a non-standard item.
